Note that Friday, May 15^th is Professional Learning Day for staff. There is no school for students on this day.  Monday, May 18^th is Victoria Day holiday and schools are closed.
 

Big thank you to so many of you for your support in driving all our intermediate students to Minoru Track & Field Meet and for cheering our students under the blue skies.  We are proud of our students’ effort, accomplishment, and excellent show of sportsmanship towards everyone.

 

 

We would like to invite you to our Honour Band concert in front of our school in the morning on Thursday, May 28^th from 8:15 to 8:45 am weather permitting. This is to show our gratitude for all you do for our school year-round.  Your fantastic support and organization of fun events is what makes Diefenbaker School community an exciting place for our families.  We look forward to seeing you there!!

 

I am writing to let you know that we will be saying good-bye to Mr. Pantaleo. He will pursue other opportunities in education.  It has been an absolute pleasure to have Mr. Pantaleo teach and lead our students and staff this year and in the years prior.  We wish him all the success, although he will be missed very much!

 

Due to decline in our student numbers, we will not have a vice-principal next year at our school.  I am honoured to be your principal next year and to continue to work with you and with our staff to make our school the very best place it can be to learn.
