June 5th Bulldog Bulletin
Dear Bulldog families,
Please, see the attached Bulldog Bulletin, Notice of Late Return for September and Fun Day plan.
Please, note that if your child will be returning later to school in the first week back in September, fill out the attached Notice of Late Return form and hand it in to the office. We also have copies of the notice in the office.
We would also appreciate it that if your child will be leaving the school earlier than on the last day of June 25th, if you could kindly let the main office and the classroom teacher know as soon as you can. Thank you.
Fun Day on Friday, June 12 - Dismissal at 2:45 pm
We will have Diefenbaker Fun Day on Friday, June 12th full day from 8:45 am to 2:45 pm. The theme will be Canada & World Cup soccer. Please, see the attached detailed information about this day.
Once again, Kindergarten to Grade 3 students are welcome to participate in the bike parade. The bikes will be parked on the basketball court by the playground and stored in the multi purpose room for the rest of the day. Please, make sure your children who are biking are wearing their helmets and that their bikes are in good working condition. Students can decorate their bikes in their team’s colour, Canada colours or soccer themed.
Parents are welcome to eat lunch with their children outside on this day or in the gym while watching the Canada - Bosnia Herzegovina game. We ask that parents are not with their children in the classrooms during lunch.
If it rains, please check the Diefenbaker School website after 7 am. Text message will also be sent to families who opted in School Messenger. Rain out day is scheduled for Monday, June 15th, weather dependent.
