Dear Diefenbaker families, 

We wanted to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves as the new Diefenbaker leadership administrative team.  We both feel privileged to be a part of the Diefenbaker community, and are very much excited to work with students, parents, staff, and other partners within the school.  

In our first few days, we have had the opportunity to introduce ourselves to all of the classes, interact with many students in the hallways and outside at recess and lunch, and also to meet a number of parents/family members who have been volunteering with various endeavours in the school.  Everyone has been exceptionally welcoming to us, and we are very much appreciative of this.  It is clear to us that Diefenbaker is an exceptional learning community, and we appreciate the ongoing involvement of our families.

Above all, we very much look forward to working with you and your children.  We appreciate your ongoing communication with, and support of, our amazing teachers and staff, and of the school as a whole.  We both have a passion for student learning and social-emotional development, for promoting French language and French Culture, and for working alongside our students, families, and staff members in an educational partnership.

Thank you once again for the very warm welcome to Diefenbaker!
