February 6th Bulldog Bulletin

Dear Bulldog families,

Please, see the attached Bulldog Bulletin, Scholastic Book Fair schedule for February 23-26th and February PAC newsletter.

We welcome Mr. Naso as our new Band and Fine Arts teacher until spring break or until Mr. Bredenholler returns from his leave.  Mr. Naso is experienced Music teacher at both elementary and secondary levels.

This is a reminder for parents not to park in the staff parking lot. There are cars double parking in the lots during drop off and pick up times.  Thank you for doing your part and taking care in keeping our parking lots safe for everyone.

Bake Sale on Tuesday
We will have our PAC Valentines (nut-free) Bake Sale on Tuesday, February 10th in the multi purpose room. Thank you to our PAC for organizing this event. Thank you to all of you for your generous contributions (no nuts) and for volunteering to run the sale.

Primary students can purchase up to two baked goods at recess, while intermediate students can purchase two treats at lunch.  All students are welcome at the bake sale after school at 2:45 pm.

Students can bring coins up to $3, sealed and labelled with their name in a small zip-lock bag.  We will ask the students to keep their coin bags either in their backpacks or with their classroom teacher.  Students will be allowed to purchase treats only for themselves.

Hold and Secure drill on Monday

Hold and Secure is called in situations that occur outside the school building, for example a coyote has been sighted or a robbery happens nearby.  The exterior doors are locked until the situation outside is resolved and safe.  The exterior doors are monitored to allow students and staff to enter. Once everyone is inside, no one leaves the building during the drill. Our school activities and learning inside the school will continue as usual during this drill.

Have a great weekend,

Mr. Pantaleo and Ms. Vosahlo
