One of our main goals is to have common language that our community knows and uses around Social Responsibility. 

The SR committee created the "Kindness Umbrella" after working with the ACT team during the 2019-2020 school year. 

We launched the "Kindness Umbrella" in October with a school wide "Zoombly" and a reading of the book We Are Kind by Monique Gray Smith.

The first focus for our students, especially through the challenging months of learning in a pandemic situation, was "Kindness to Self."  

We asked them: How have you shown Kindness to Self at school?  How did it make you feel?  How did it prepare you for your day at school?
