This afternoon we held our first Celebration of literacy assembly. We had our principal read a book about Diwali, then two divisions presented a poem and different genres of literacy.  Finally, each division shared their goal for the first term, examples include: read a basket of books, read 280 cm of books, read 250 novels etc.  Once achieved, the students will earn a prize.  This was a very exciting assembly!
