Notices of Intent to Attend

This to let you know that Notices of Intent to Attend next school year for students in Kindergarten to Grade 6 are sent home with your child today.  Please, fill them out and return them as soon as possible to the main office, by January 17^th at the latest.

Adults in the building

This is a reminder that all adults entering our building must sign in in the main office and wear the VISITOR badge inside our building.  We ask that parents drop off their children in the main office and the children walk to their classrooms on their own. 

Our school washrooms are ONLY for staff and students.  If you need to drop off any items for your child such as band instruments, change of clothes, lunches or anything else, please leave them labelled with your child’s name and division at the main office and we will deliver to your child. This is for our students’ safety and to make sure that our students’ learning is not disrupted. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Thank you for your wonderful generosity in donating items to the Diefenbaker School Christmas Hamper baskets for the less fortunate in Vancouver downtown Eastside. Big thank you to Mrs. Hixt, Mme Yick and their classes for keeping this tradition going at our school for over fifteen years.  Our story was featured in the Vancouver Sun here:
