September 15th Bulldog Bulletin
Dear Bulldog families,
I am writing to wish you Happy Friday and Happy Rosh Hashana to Jewish families who are celebrating tomorrow. It is a beautiful sunny day for a Picnic in the Park event this afternoon. We hope you can join us from 4 to 7 pm today.
This is also to thank you for your amazing support this week in helping your children deal successfully with change. I see so many students’ smiles throughout the day. Students have been practicing Kindness to Self this week, by trying their best, being open-minded and giving new classes and new peers a chance. Your support and positive outlook at home has been invaluable this week in helping our students have a positive mindset at school.
We thank our amazing PAC for organizing Picnic in the Park the afternoon from 4 to 7pm. All families are welcome to this event and to meet our community. This year’s picnic features BBQ, cakewalk, book sale, bouncy castle, Jitsu demonstration and 6:15 pm circus show. We thank Cabana family for their generosity in organizing the BBQ for everyone,
We are looking forward to having you visit your children’s classes at our Meet the Teacher Evening on Thursday, September 21st between 6 to 7 pm. School doors will open at 6 pm. You will have two opportunities to visit your child’s teacher in their classroom at 6-6:30 pm or at 6:30-7 pm for half an hour each. Please, come to your child’s classroom at one of those times. Both presentations will be the same as well as you will have time to ask your child’s teachers questions you may have.
This year's Terry Fox Run for Hope Assembly will take place on Wednesday, September 20th at 1 pm in the gym, followed by school-wide run on the track on the field after the assembly. Parents are welcome to attend the assembly as well as watch the students run.
Please, see the attached Bulldog Bulletin, Library pamphlet, Raising Digitally Responsible Youth Guide and Immunization information from our school nurse.
