Our school Family Teams met on Earth Day to practice Kindness to self, to others and to our place. Students were placed in multi-aged groups to connect with each other and with other adults in our community.  The Grade 6 and 7 student leaders helped with the introduction activity to help everyone get to know each other better.  Students then had the opportunity to learn more about planting seeds, create posters about taking care of spaces in our school community and participate in crayon station to learn ways to minimize waste in our land. To conclude our school celebration of Earth Day, students took part in the Great Diefenbaker school community Clean-up.
